The Fortingall Yew, which is somewhere between 3,000 and 5,000 years old, is Scotland’s oldest tree, and possibly the oldest tree in the UK.

This five minute video visits the church in the Perthshire village of Fortingall. The Oldest Yew, the Kirk and a Plague Mass Grave are examined. You get a good view of the tree and an understanding of the immediate setting.
