Bullock Roasting 1925
When this silent newsreel was made in 1925, it marked Tyldesley's first communcal bullock roasting for 25 years.
It's a shame we don't get to see where this is set or any nearby buildings. But there are lots of people there having a very good time watching the bull roasting and then waiting to be served.
One man seems to have brought two plates with him, while a boy puts his completed sandwich onto a white square, possibly a napkin.
